About Secondhand Society

Resale can be overwhelming, but you can learn and I can help you. I first fell in love with secondhand at age 11 when I spotted a C&C shirt for $8 (IYKYK) in a local shop. Over the past 25 years, I’ve made countless friends traversing the planet buying and selling for myself and others. From getting invited to hidden closets in Paris to sourcing a Chanel bike helmet for a friend in Palm Beach, it brings me a lot of joy to share the stories behind clothing and the passion for the treasure hunt of secondhand. I’ve also made over six-figures.

In addition to making and saving money, there’s so much to be gained from becoming a more empowered shopper (don’t get me started on why you should never buy new jeans…or do, I’d love to tell you). Not only is shopping secondhand better for the planet and better for people, it’s also the best way to express your unique self. And as the best-selling author of Brag Better: Master the Art of Fearless Self-Promotion, I know just how important feeling visible and having a voice is. It’s not just about looking good, it’s about feeling good.

Resale is a multi-billion dollar industry and growing. If you’re passionate about secondhand, the community, and shopping sustainbly, we’re just getting started.
